Join us each Sunday as we strive to act justly,
embrace kindness, and walk humbly with our Lord.
First Presbyterian Brownsville
offers several ways to worship each Sunday at 11:00 a.m.:
Summertime, summertime, sum sum summertime. Yeah!
First Presbyterian is heading to the water this summer by wearing beach attire, flip flops, beach hats, Hawaiian shirts, and learning about biblical H2O stories and what they mean to us today.
We are born of water- physically and spiritually. All God's creation survives and thrives on water.
Jesus tells the woman at the well and us, He is "the Living Water" for which we seek.
Join us on Sundays and come as you are-- whether that means you wear your beach attire or your suit and tie. You are welcome...just as you are.
The last Sunday of the month, First Presbyterian Church, Brownsville takes it to the streets and acts justly, embraces kindness, and walks humbly with our Lord.
The congregation meets in the sanctuary at 11:00 a.m. for a 20 minute worship service and then leaves the four walls and serves in the community as a congregation.
We stealthily delivered May baskets to our neighbors, cleaned up the neighborhood-picking up garbage around the church and in the neighbors' yards, delivered baked goods to our neighborhood firehouses, took goodies to the neighbors, etc.
